The Cavaliers traveled to New York to take on Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks and came away with a 111-104 win.
The Cavs were led by LeBron James, who finished with the game with 32 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. James shot 12-20 from the field and 4-8 from downtown. Kevin Love also contributed 23 points and 16 rebounds. Love shot 7-16 from the field and 4-7 from beyond the arc.
The team combined to shoot 41-84 for 48.8% from the field and made 16-40 for 40% from deep. The Cavs had 20 assists to 15 turnovers.
The Knicks were led by Brandon Jennings’ 23 points and 10 assists. Jennings went 8-13 from the field and 6-8 from deep. Carmelo Anthony shot a miserable 6-20 and 1-6 from three, for just 17 points and 6 rebounds.
Now the Cavs will travel to D.C. on Monday to take on the surging Wizards, who are 21-6 over the last 27 games. The Wizards are led by All-Star John Wall and his backcourt mate Bradley Beal. Wall is averaging 23 points and shade over 10 assists per game. Bradley Beal is putting up a career high 22 points and chipping in just under 4 assists per game.
